  • North of X at Kings Place

    4 Feb 2016

Following a premiere in Glasgow last October, North of X now brings 'The Age of Digital / Analogue' to Kings Place as part of Sonica.

Take an audio visual journey and explore the relationship between man, machine and landscape.

North of X (Sisi Lu) and his team have spent a year and a half travelling the UK recording the sounds and visuals of Britain's industrial revolution heritage from steam engines to car manufacturing to the stunning landscapes of Isle of Skye and Snowdonia.

The result? A live cinematic performance combining pop culture, original electronic music (inspired, and in part made from the sounds of the machines), original film and sound design.
