About Sisi Lu (North of X)

Sisi Lu is an award winning artist from Inner Mongolia working as a sound designer, creative director and live digital artist. He was awarded a Gold Medal in the short film low budget category at the 2011 New York Film festival and received a Sky Academy Arts Scholarship in 2013. His work has been showcased at a number of international festivals and received hundreds of thousands of views across Vimeo, Youtube and Youku; he has directed and composed the music for Haizhen Wang’s 2013 closing show at London and Shanghai fashion week and in 2014 was the visual / sound designer on the BBC documentary ‘Facing up to Mackintosh.



Stamp House is supporting the development of the Sky Academy Arts Scholars projects throughout the duration of their one year scholarship. Sky Academy Arts Scholarships annually support five talented UK and Irish artists aged 18 – 30 by offering each a £30,000 bursary and senior level mentoring from Sky and their industry.
